The CW has acquired broadcast rights to DC Universe original series Swamp Thing, which ran for one season on the streaming service.

Variety reports the network, which is home to Arrowverse shows like The Flash and Supergirl, has acquired broadcast rights to the DC Universe original series. This indicates Swamp Thing's first and only season will soon be able to air on The CW.
At the time of writing, it doesn't appear The CW will develop new Swamp Thing episodes. Given that the network is home to so many other DC properties, this certainly makes it more possible for the character to appear on an existing Arrowverse show down the line, though that is only speculation at this time. Notably, DC Universe already shares broadcast rights to its original series Stargirl with The CW, which will air on both the network and the streaming service this summer.
