Falcon and Winter Soldier Set Photo Reveals Intriguing Flaming Skull Logo
A set photo from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has surfaced online, revealing a biker wearing an ominous logo.
With the inaugural Marvel Studios Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier poised to resume filming next month, an intriguing set photo before the temporary shutdown on production has surfaced online.
A photo taken months ago from the miniseries' Georgia set has been published online by entertainment news site Murphy's Multiverse. The photo shows a cast member wearing a leather jacket bearing an ominous flaming skull logo between filming takes. The photo was from part of a shoot revealing a biker gang harassing Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes along with Helmut Zemo.
Given the hellish design of the biker logo, the image could be inspired by Mephisto or Ghost Rider while the red coloration on the skull is also evocative of longtime Captain America villain the Red Skull.
Principal photography on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier had shutdown in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as the production moved to the Czech Republic for location filming in Prague. Last month, the Czech government had approved plans for production on the Disney+ miniseries to resume with added health considerations for the cast and crew taken into account.
Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Noah Mills, Carl Lumbly and Daniel Brühl. The series is currently expected to premiere on Disney+ in August.
